ATLANTA — Georgia ranks among the lowest tipping states in the country, according to a new report from point-of-sale management platform Toast.
The report ranks Georgia as the 14th-lowest tipping state in the nation.
California and Washington state ranked lowest for tipping, while Delaware ranked highest.
Tips in Delaware average more than 24% of the bill, according to the report.
A recent WalletHub survey also found that a majority of Americans say tipping culture has “gone too far.”
