An ex-girlfriend of Tyler Ford has been arrested and charged in connection with what appears now to be have been a drug-related shooting: Ford, a 23 year-old University of West Georgia student from Athens, was killed in his off-campus apartment last week. Police say two other people are also charged in the case, the first homicide of the year in Carrollton. Ford was a senior business major at the University of West Georgia.
