The case against a man and woman charged in a murder in Franklin County is a step closer to trial: a grand jury in Carnesville has handed up indictments against 45 year-old Ray Craft of Hartwell and 30 year-old Kristen Odister of Bowersville. They’re charged in the August beating death of 82 year-old Lavonia businessman Sam Harbin, who was killed in his home in what Franklin County Sheriff’s Office investigators say was a robbery attempt. It is not yet clear when Odister and Craft will stand trial.
