Jackson EMC to announce broadband partnership

The Jefferson-based Jackson EMC is announcing a partnership that is designed to expand internet access in northeast Georgia. TruVista, headquartered in Chester South Carolina, will provide broadband for a quarter-million customers in the Jackson EMC service area. Details will be spelled out in a Thursday news conference at the Capitol in Atlanta.
