This afternoon’s meeting of the Classic Center Authority is set for 4 o’clock at the Classic Center in downtown Athens.
Oconee County Commissioners meet, 6 o’clock at the courthouse in Watkinsville. Their Barrow County counterparts meet at 6 at the Historic Courthouse in Winder.
The Georgia House and Senate have signed off on the legislation that will merge the probate and magistrate courts in Elbert County: the measure, pitched by Elbert County Commissioners as a money-saving move, awaits the signature of Governor Brian Kemp.
