Local government calendar includes BOE, Planning Commission meetings in Oconee Co

The citizens committee that is looking at work on projects funded by the Athens-Clarke County Transportation Sales Tax meets just after 5 o’clock this afternoon at Athens City Hall.

There is an evening meeting of the Oconee County School Board, a 6 o’clock session at School District offices on School Street in Watkinsville.

The Oconee County Planning Commission meets tonight, 7 o’clock at the County Administrative Building off Macon Highway in Watkinsville.

Today is election eve in Pendergrass: voters will decide tomorrow a special election between Bob Carter and Mallory Danner. The winner will fill a seat on the Pendergrass City Council.
