There is a morning meeting of the Oconee County Planning Commission: it’s a 9 o’clock session at the courthouse in Watkinsville.

Jackson County Commissioners meet tonight, 6 o'clock at the courthouse in Jefferson. 

Tonight's meeting of the Oglethorpe County Zoning Board is set for 7 o'clock. It takes place at the courthouse in Lexington. 

Buddy Outz was laid to rest after a weekend funeral in Barrow County: Outz was Mayor of Winder from 1991 through 2007. He died last week at the age of 82. 

A Hall County Commission work session is on tap for today, underway at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Hall County Government Center in Gainesville.
