Man accused of shooting Lavonia police officers pleads guilty

khari gordon

The man accused of shooting and wounding two Lavonia police officers in December of 2016 enters a guilty plea in court in Franklin County: Khari Gordon gets a 100-year prison sentence. The officers were shot after a traffic stop in which Gordon, who was free on bond on an attempted murder charge in South Carolina, was driving a stolen car. It happened outside a restaurant off I-85 in Lavonia. Gordon’s guilty plea came after a trial that started earlier this week in Carnesville.
