May classes, Staff Appreciation Day today at UGA

Today is the first day of May session classes at the University of Georgia. This is also the first day of UGA's extended summer session classes. 

Today is staff appreciation day at UGA: activities get underway at 10 o'clock this morning and continue through 2 o'clock this afternoon at the intramural fields on Lake Herrick Drive.

All University of Georgia staff are invited to attend UGA's fifth annual Staff Appreciation Celebration.

To be held May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the UGA intramural fields, the event will include a catered lunch, a variety of activities and a chance for attendees to win a prize.

An initiative of the Office of the President, the Staff Appreciation Celebration is a way for the university to say, “Thank you, Staff!”
