Murder warrants issued in deaths of Athens men

Gwinnett County Police say they are leveling murder charges against three men accused in the December deaths of two men from Athens: Derrick Ruff and Joshua Jackson were both 25 years old. They bodies were found in a storage unit near Lawrenceville after they went missing in late December. Gwinnett Police say murder warrants have been obtained for 30 year-old Lesley Green of Stone Mountain, 24 year-old Shabazz Guidry of Decatur, and 30 year-old Robert Carlisle of Lithonia. Green and Guidry are in jail; Carlisle remains at-large. 

We have today the names of the two people killed in a crash involving a school bus in Jackson County: Raymundo Tatgenhorst and Shianna Hibbitt were killed in the wreck that happened near Nicholson; one child on the bus was injured and taken to a hospital in Atlanta. The wreck happened on Highway 441. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating. 

A Hall County woman faces aggravated assault charges: Kaci Gibbs is 32 years old, from Lula. She was booked into the Hall County jail after allegedly hitting a man with an axe. The Hall County Sheriff's Office says he was treated for an injury to his hand. 

Investigators in Fulton County are taking a new look at a cold case: the body of 8 year-old Josh Harmon was found in 1988 near his family’s apartment in Roswell, where police say he was beaten and strangled to death. Those police say they are looking for new information in hopes of pinning down a suspect.
