The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for drug theft suspects: investigators say someone stole upwards of $10 thousand worth of prescription pain medication from a pharmacy at the Oconee Health Campus off Jennings Mill Road.

Today marks an anniversary in Elbert County: one year ago today, someone blew up the famous Georgia Guidestones, the granite monument that had stood since the early 1980s in a field outside Elberton. Who did it and why remains a mystery, these 365 days later. A GBI investigation is ongoing.

MD Lowery is back in Loganville: the Chief of the Loganville Police Department was part of a 20-member delegation of law enforcement officers from the US who received training in Israel.

There is an ongoing search for vandalism suspects in Dawson County, where two men are wanted for causing extensive damage to a home under construction in Dawsonville. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office says their suspects could be teenagers, or young adult white males.
