A man arrested in Franklin County was wanted on kidnaping charges in South Carolina. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Chad Merck was taken into custody after manhunt that happened last week, apprehended behind a truck stop off I-85 near Carnesville.
Two people are facing methamphetamine charges in Elbert County: the Sheriff’s Office in Elberton says 38 year-old Robert Mays and 30 year-old Jamie Lee West were booked into the Elbert Count jail.
