NE Ga police blotter includes deadly crash in Elbert Co

We have this morning the names of the Elbert County mother and daughter killed in a crash on Highway 72: Breanna Parham was 33 years old; Rhiana Ramey was 16. Both were from Elberton. The Georgia State Patrol says their car collided with a pick-up truck. Two people in the truck were hospitalized in Greenville South Carolina.

Police in Gainesville say a traffic stop led to the recovery of a car reported stolen out of North Carolina. The driver is facing a long list of charges after police found what they say were marijuana, methamphetamine, and cocaine. Gainesville Police say they also found a gun. They suspect was booked into the Hall County jail.

A Gainesville man is in the Hall County jail, arrested after a police chase in south Hall: 26 year-old Roberto Yebra was taken into custody after crashing his car on Winder Highway in Hall County. He suffered what were reported as minor injuries, while a passenger in his car was treated for more serious injuries.

A Barrow County man gets probation in Hall County after charges in a sexual battery case involving two young girls were reduced: Matthew Silva is from Winder.
