John Daniell, completing his second term as Chairman of the Oconee County Commission, says he wants another four years: Daniell says he will be a candidate for reelection when Oconee County voters go to the polls in November.

Conservative Oconee County Commissioner John Daniell today announced his intention to seek another term as Chairman of the Commission.
“It is an honor to serve the citizens of Oconee County as Chairman. The job is exciting as well as challenging. I am hopeful you find my strong track record as Chairman worthy of another term.”
John Daniell is completing his second term as Oconee County Chairman. Working with fellow commissioners, Oconee County has a historically low millage rate while expanding parks, improving roadway safety, and protecting our quality of life. Oconee County’s financial position has also improved as evidence by Moody’s Aaa bond rating.
“If I am honored enough to be re-elected Chairman, I will build on the successes and continue to bring fresh ideas,” said Daniell. “That’s why I want to focus on projects that enhance our quality of life. I think I have the best experience and vision to move Oconee forward. I hope the voters agree and vote John Daniell for Chairman in 2024.”
John Daniell is married to Christina. They have 5 children, all girls except for the 4 boys. The oldest three children are married so they now have 8 children. And John and Christina are blessed with five grandchildren, all boys except for the 4 girls.
