Search for suspects in murder of Bethlehem woman is now nationwide

Rossana Delgado Suspects in the woman's death

There is a nationwide manhunt for the five people wanted in the murder of a mother from Barrow County: Rossana Delgado of Bethlehem was last seen April 16 in DeKalb County. Her body was found last week in a cabin in Gilmer County.

From WSB TV…

Rossana Delgado, of Barrow County, disappeared on April 16 and was last seen on that date in DeKalb County. Agencies discovered a body inside a cabin in Gilmer County last week.

Four days later, they identified the body as Delgado and notified the family. Delgado’s husband and sister spoke with Channel 2′s partners Telemundo during the search.

Jineska Pacheco said they did their own investigating and found security camera video from a metro Atlanta department store showing Delgado with another woman, who was later identified as Megan Alyssa Colone.

Gehlbach learned that Colone may have rented out the cabin where Delgado was found.

Colone is wanted for murder along with four other men. One has not been identified but the GBI released the names of the others: Juan Ayala-Rodriguez, 35, of Gainesville, Oscar Manuel Garcia, 26, of Austell, and Mario Alberto Barbosa-Juarez, 29, of Oklahoma City, OK.

Delgado’s husband said they tracked her cell phone to a home near Decatur.

“At that location we found a mask with some blood. We called the police at that moment,” Johnny Castro said.

Police in DeKalb County were not able to find the missing mom or her car. Castro said his wife was just finishing a fare driving for a taxi service and that was the last time anyone heard from her.

“It was on Friday at 7 p.m. the last time when I spoke with her. She told me she was driving for a woman who wanted to go to Plaza Fiesta to buy something. She told me she was about to drive her client to her house that was 30 minutes away.”

Gehlbach contacted the GBI Monday afternoon. The department did not release new details on the case, how Delgado was killed or what led them to Gilmer County.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects are asked to call the GBI Tipline at 1-800-597-TIPS (8477). If you see any of them, do not approach them and call 911 immediately.
