The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance camera photographs of two people wanted for robbing a convenience store on Patrick Mill Road in Winder. Investigators in Winder say the photos appear to show a man and woman. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.
The GBI is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Gainesville: a man pulled over in a traffic stop apparently shot himself as he was being approached by Gainesville Police. It happened near the Lakeshore Mall in Gainesville. The man was, at last report, hospitalized at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. There was no immediate word on his condition, or on why he shot himself.
