With now five days to go before the start of the University of Georgia’s fall semester, today begins the move-in period for students who will live in UGA residence halls. The University’s fall classes begin next Wednesday.

For most students, move in for fall 2023 begins at 8 a.m. Friday, August 11.
University Housing will provide updates via students’ UGA email and on this page throughout the summer.

Fall arrival times
In an effort to minimize traffic, parking and check-in congestion, move-in arrival times are required on Friday, August 11 through Sunday, August 13. Students checking in on Monday, August 14 through Wednesday, August 16 do not need to schedule an arrival time.
Arrival times are allotted by building. Beginning on the date listed below for your assigned residence hall, you may log into The Dawg House with your MyID and password to choose an arrival time. Please schedule your arrival time by Tuesday, August 8.

June 27Church Hall, Hill Hall, Boggs Hall, Mell Hall, Lipscomb Hall, Morris Hall, Oglethorpe House

If you do not have an assignment by June 29, you may sign up for an arrival time in The Dawg House beginning June 30. Once you have an assignment, your arrival time will transfer to your building. To schedule an arrival timeslot:
- Log in to The Dawg House
- Select Schedule my Arrival
- Choose the date you wish to move in
- Choose an available arrival timeslot
- Confirm your arrival timeslot by clicking Yes on the pop-up window
- You will now see your booked arrival timeslot and receive an email confirmation
- If you are finished using The Dawg House, please log out
*Note: You can only have one arrival timeslot at a time. If you are trying to reschedule your timeslot, you must first cancel your current arrival timeslot.
To Cancel and/or reschedule an arrival timeslot:
- Log in to The Dawg House
- Select Schedule my Arrival
- Click cancel next to your booked arrival timeslot
- Confirm you wish to cancel by clicking Yes in the pop-up window
- Your arrival timeslot has been canceled and you will receive a confirmation email
- You can now schedule a new arrival timeslot, if needed.
- If you are finished using The Dawg House, please log out.
