University System of Georgia reports record number of degrees awarded in one fiscal year

ATLANTA — The University System of Georgia reports a new record for the number of degrees awarded in one fiscal year at over 82,600.

It is a nearly 8% increase over the previous year which is the most significant increase in the last decade.

They credit several ongoing initiatives that help promote degree completion and help students and families make informed decisions about college affordability and value.
