The second round of the Masters has been called for the day after play was suspended at 4:22 p.m. ET Friday when rain and high winds swept through Augusta National. The delay came directly after winds blew down multiple trees near the 17th hole in a terrifying scene. No injuries were reported.
When play resumes at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday, everyone will be chasing Brooks Koepka at the top of the leaderboard.
Early in the day, Koepka took control of the tournament with a second-round 67 to move to 12-under on the week. That's three strokes clear of second-place Jon Rahm (9-under), who is through nine holes of his second round. In third place is surprising amateur Sam Bennett, who is at 8-under after finishing his round on Friday. He's followed by plenty of big names, Collin Morikawa (6-under), Jordan Spieth (5-under) and Jason Day (5-under).
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods is battling to make the cut while sitting at 2-over, just above the cutline, through 11 holes in Round 2. At least one big name, world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, is almost surely going to miss the cut after a disastrous second round.
