USPS 2026 price increases for shipping go into effect

The USPS announced price increases on shipping for 2026. The price of stamps will not increase.

WASHINGTON, DC — The United States Postal Service price increases for shipping are in effect as of January 18.

Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express service, USPS Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select are all seeing price increases of more than 5%.

First-Class stamps will be 78 cents after increasing from 73 cents back in July.
