NE Ga police blotter: deputy arrested in Barrow Co, forgery suspect nabbed in Elbert Co

There is a search for a suspect in Statham, where police say a man has been making sexual advances toward other men in a park in Statham. The white male, believed to be about 60 years old and driving a brown older model Ford truck, is approaching younger men in Robert Bridges Park in Statham.

Charges are pending in the case of a Hall County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested in Barrow County: Richard Parr is accused of shooting tannerite while intoxicated, allegedly doing so from the back porch of a home in Statham.

A 52 year-old woman from Bowman is booked into the Elbert County jail on charges that include making terrorist threats. Bond for Angela Moore was set at $5 thousand.

A Franklin County man is arrested in Elbert County: the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office says 49 year-old Christopher Seymour of Carnesville is looking at charges that include forgery. He was released after posting bond at the Elbert County jail.

The Georgia State Patrol says there will be no charges for the 63 year-old Dahlonega woman who suffered minor injuries when her car crashed into a building in Lumpkin County. State Troopers say she apparently pressed the gas instead of the brakes and slammed into a physical therapist’s office off Highway 60 in Lumpkin County.
