UGA defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt arrested

University of Georgia defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt was arrested overnight in Athens, booked into the Athens-Clarke County jail on misdemeanor charges of Family Violence, Criminal Trespass, and Damage to Property. He played in 13 games last season and started the Sugar Bowl. He led the interior lineman with 30 tackles last season.

Wyatt is a senior from DeKalb County. His bond has been set at $1,500.

Bulldog coach Kirby Smart says in a statement he is “disappointed in the misconduct that is outlined in the report...we will address it internally in the appropriate way.”
