The Hall County-based Humane Society of Northeast Georgia has a new director: Allison Mayfield comes to Gainesville from Wilmington North Carolina, where she worked as Chief Development Officer for a Boys and Girls club. She will begin her new job in January.
“Our search committee identified key skill sets the Humane Society needs in an executive,” says Human Society Board Chair Cindy Askounis. “Allison has those attributes and many more. Her experience in building teams, communications and developing partnerships is evident by her proven track records at other non-profits.”
“I am excited to bring my experience in non-profit leadership to the Humane Society and at the same time be a part of a cause that I have passion for,” says Mayfield. “I am a collaborator and look forward to building upon relationships that will add to the solid foundation that is already in place.”
