She was arrested on marijuana trafficking charges: now the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says three more people have been charged in a revenge porn case involving Commerce City Councilwoman Roshuanda Merritt. Frank Sewell, Caquea Evans, and Aisha Pelzer were taken into custody by police who say nude picture of Merritt was posted to a social media website in early December.
A man from Louisiana was, at last report, still in the Hall County jail after fleeing from the scene of a traffic stop near Gainesville: Michael Ball is 27 years old, from Slidell Louisiana. He was arrested after driving away from a traffic stop and then running away on foot. Ball was captured after Hall County Sheriff’s deputies hit him with a taser.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says a 66 year-old man is behind bars, charged with shooting at a woman in her home in Buford. She was not injured. Roger Ballew was arrested shortly after the shooting. He is facing charges that include aggravated assault.
